Why is it important for you to become an expert?
This might be the solution to why you’re struggling with your products or courses.
In this article, I will share what I have done along the way, and hopefully it can help you out as well.
I was one of those struggling speakers and trainers until I realized that “unless I became an authority brand in my niche, it was never going to happen.”
Remember, people respect and pay experts more than they pay anybody else. So, from today, I want you to put it in your head that whatever you do, you work on becoming the expert in your industry.
Look at anybody that you follow or anybody that you’ve ever paid money. It is because they are an expert at something.
So how do you become an authority?
Prepare longer than anybody else and put in the work.
When I decided that I was going to become the best public speaking trainer on the planet, I was like an animal. I attended every training that I could from Tony Robbins to Les Brown to Joyce Meyer to T.D. Jakes, to Brendon Burchard, to T. Harv Eker.
I went to attend all these guys because I was looking to see what they do that makes them the best.
And then I created world class speakers with audacity, an amazing product. I've got a student on every continent in the world. That's how good I am now.
Post amazing content consistently.
I like to post the before and after, my students doing fire walks, making presentations outpost cobras, joking about me and before you know it, boom.
Show off your WINS
I like to show what I've done for other organisations and individuals such as Total energies, Spedag and so on.
Why? Because that is how you begin to capture the industry, to be more of an expert.
Build a community
I have a community of speakers, especially on the African continent, who are practicing at the highest level.
Because I knew that if you understood that your voice could take you to the next level.
Your voice can rescue, your voice can impact, your voice can touch.

Stand out. Be different
I don't apologize for my excellence and I stood out because I pushed people to go beyond mediocrity.
I am never politically correct and I do not care much for what other people think. All I care about is how I can serve.
How can I make a difference?
Boost your presence
Create podcasts, interviews, speaking gigs and so on. There's a time we were training every weekend, three days every week. Everywhere. South Africa, Zambia, Cameroon, Nigeria.
All because we had built up the momentum and presence and expertise so that everyone who was looking to go to the next level from a consulting speaking point of view, knew where to go.
Make money from it
Put up events, premium consultations and so on. When people pay you, they take action on your recommendations.
Therefore, you will have more success stories.
Create authority challenges
You’ve got to create authority challenges where you ask for challenges others are having within the industry.
You then answer the problems and that is how you get identified as the expert.

QUESTION
When is now a good time for you to stand out regardless of what other people think?
Guess what, people will always have opinions. And the one reason everybody’s got one is because they’re cheap so everybody can afford one.
But everybody else’s opinion of you is none of your business.
What really matters is what you think about yourself. And if I know anything about the people who listen to me, you guys know that you’re awesome.
Most importantly, you have the audacity to live life on your terms. But most importantly, you know that you’ve got to bring somebody else along the way so that together we can make this world a better place.
Until next time, Peace.
